Professional Background

William "Chip" Gehle has worked as a consultant to corporate and institutional clients for 20 years.    Consulting assignments have included corporate business planning. acquisitions, divestitures, project development and financing, and problem and dispute resolution.   

Chip's clients and/or projects have been in the U.S., Canada, China, Colombia, Ghana, Japan, Kazakhstan, Mexico, Norway, Nicaragua, Peru, S. Korea, Taiwan, Turkey and Venezuela.

Chip was previously employed with major banks including the Chase Manhattan Bank, Citibank/Citicorp and BBVA in corporate, project and trade financing, and in problem loans and workouts.  He also worked with major engineering and construction companies including Enron Engineering and Construction, Amec Foster Wheeler and SNC-Lavalin, in due diligence, project finance and commercial and project management.    

Chip majored in Economics at Southern Methodist University and earned a Master's in International Management at the Thunderbird School of Global Management.  He has lived in several cities in the U.S., and in Santiago, Chile, Mexico City, Mexico and in Bogotá, Colombia.  He is fluent in Spanish.
